Location

This vineyard lies on the Cretaceous cuesta of the southwestern edge of the Paris Basin, planted on tufa limestone soil (chalk). The delimitation recognized a vast, well-exposed area, but generally only 11 hectares are declared in this AOC. The terroir thus delimited corresponds to a situation of well-exposed and ventilated hillsides that favor early vegetation and enable over-ripe harvests, even affected by noble rot.
