Vintage 2022 at a glance

The 2022 vintage stands out for its early ripening and remarkable aromatic expression, despite atypical weather conditions. Harvesting began at the end of August, favoring optimal concentration of aromas, then continued until the end of October thanks to welcome rainfall between late August and early September.

These climatic conditions enabled the grapes to reach ideal ripeness, revealing a rich and diversified aromatic palette across all cuvées. Whether for whites, reds, rosés or fine bubbles, each wine reflects the specificity of Loire terroirs, with a beautiful aromatic intensity, ranging from citrus and exotic fruit notes to nuances of ripe, stewed fruit.

White wines: fruity brightness and floral intensity

The white wines of the 2022 vintage are characterized by great freshness and intense aromas. Produced from an early harvest, they reveal notes of citrus, tropical fruit and delicate floral nuances. The ripening process, moderated by rainfall at the end of August, resulted in excellent concentration, highlighting the purity of the fruit and the minerality typical of Loire terroirs. The aromatic expression is both bright and subtle, offering an authentic signature, recognizable among all for connoisseurs.

The benches of this vintage are distinguished by their balance between roundness and delicate acidity, offering aromas of white-fleshed fruit and citrus. The Touraine Sauvignon reveals exotic accents and a sustained richness on the palate, reflecting the generous summer sunshine. These wines illustrate the ability of Loire Valley winemakers to make the most of adverse weather conditions.

Red wines: fruity depth and tannic elegance

The Loire red wines of 2022 present rich aromas of ripe fruit, with touches of black cherry, blackberry and sometimes a subtle compote note. The mild autumnal weather has favored the harmonious evolution of tannins, bringing an elegant structure to these cuvées. The depth of their aromatic bouquet testifies to a successful balance between concentration and finesse, reflecting the diversity of Loire terroirs.

The Chinons are characterized by a beautiful intensity of fresh red fruit, supported by fine tannins and a persistent finish. For their part, Saumur-Champigny wines offer an elegant structure with black fruit aromas and a touch of spice, testifying to the grapes' optimal ripeness. The vintage's emblematic reds combine aromatic depth and tannic elegance.

Rosé wines: lively freshness and fruity character

The rosés of this vintage are distinguished by their freshness and luminous profile. Produced from an early harvest, these cuvées offer delicate aromas of fresh red fruit and citrus, sometimes with a hint of the exotic. The balance achieved during ripening translates into a beautiful vivacity, embodying the unique identity of Loire rosé wines.

In 2022, rosés d'Anjou seduce with notes of strawberry and redcurrant, accompanied by a slight sweetness that adds a touch of gourmandise. These rosé wines express their full potential, revealing a beautiful combination of freshness and fruity expression.

Fines Bulles: refined effervescence and aromatic complexity

In 2022, Fines Bulles de Loire reveal elegant effervescence and a rich aromatic palette. They are distinguished by fruity notes of green apple and pear, accompanied by subtle floral touches. The finesse of their bubbles underlines the concentration of aromas, while preserving a remarkable freshness. This vintage aptly expresses the minerality typical of Loire sparkling wines, offering a refined and authentic sensory experience.
