Today, the Briacé estate school is a real life-size training ground for students from the Lycée and Briacé Continuing Education! Adjacent to the school, the estate serves as a teaching aid for the students, who take part in the estate's day-to-day operations alongside the estate's employees. Château Briacé wines are produced under three appellations: AOC Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine, AOC Gros Plant du Pays Nantais and IGP Val de Loire. Respectful of the environment, the estate has been managed using sustainable agriculture (Terra Vitis label) since 2001. Today, 7 hectares are farmed organically, with the majority of the estate in the process of conversion. No insecticides have been used on the estate's vines since 1998.
