Wine and menu of the day : Burger and red wine
à table!
Don't have any ideas for dinner with friends, for two or solo? We suggest an all-inclusive wine and food pairing! Our dish/wine of the day: Burger and red wine
The Loire Wine:
To accompany this recipe, we suggest a red wine that will complement the greediness of this dish. We recommend a tannic, full-bodied red wine to accompany the beef. For example, a Chinon, a Bourgueil, a Saumur Puy Notre Dame.
The recipe:

CUISSON

Preparation
15 MIN.
INGREDIENTS
400 g ground meat
4 buns
4 slices of cheese (cheddar, comté, bleu...)
12 slices onion or pickled onion or other pickles
salad and/or tomato
8 tablespoons sauce of your choice (mayonnaise, ketchup, homemade sauce...)
Grill the meat in a frying pan with a little butter or oil, over medium to high heat, turning once. Gently press the meat with the tip of a spatula.
Once well grilled, turn the meat over and cook on the other side for 3 to 5 minutes.
For a cheeseburger, add a slice or two of cheese to the grilled side of the steak once flipped. The cheese will melt while the meat continues to cook.
Prepare toppings in advance. They can consist of lettuce, tomatoes, pickles (pickled onions for example) and a sauce, such as ketchup, mayonnaise or homemade sauce of your choice.
Cut and toast the buns just before you start cooking the meat so that they are still warm when you serve the burger.
Assemble everything and serve piping hot with a crudité salad and/or home fries!
