Muscadet Coteaux de la Loire

Nantais

The Muscadet Coteaux de la Loire is the smallest regional appellation in the Nantes vineyards, covering 150 hectares for 35 winegrowers. Its vines grow to the northeast of Nantes, where the banks of the Loire rise. The relief of the hillsides overlooking the river accentuates the amplitude and freshness of the wine. The grapes grow on the eruptive and metamorphic rocks of the Armorican massif. Gneiss, granite, micaschist and green rock are all found here.

Muscadet Coteaux de la Loire is a unique terroir shaped by the Loire River. This wine is aged for a minimum of 6 months on lees. It has an attractive pale gold color with a soft golden sheen. The nose reveals fruity and mineral aromas. On the palate, it is complex and powerful while retaining its natural perlage.
