Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine "Clisson
Clisson cradles the southern Sèvre et Maine region. Vineyards form islands on the hills that emerge from a landscape dedicated to meadows and crops, open and well ventilated. The soils are coarse-textured, with sand and pebbles that are very draining and not very fertile. The subsoil is dominated by the same bedrock: Clisson granite. This is due to its proximity to a geological fault. This fractured bedrock favors deep vine roots. A rich, powerful cru whose name also evokes a picturesque city of character with Italian charm and the Hellfest metal festival that has set up shop among the vines.
