Domaine du Haut Bellay

Two types of soil (clay-limestone and clay-silt) enable us to create cuvées for drinking young, as well as cuvées for ageing. The entire vineyard is under Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée. It is an educational tool for the establishment: all work in the vineyard and cellar, as well as marketing activities, are carried out with students, apprentices and trainees from the viticultural streams. The Domaine du Haut Bellay is used daily to teach wine-making techniques. Sparkling wines, still wines, grape juice... All wines are available for sale at the estate's sales outlet. Domaine du Haut Bellay wines can be enjoyed every day or on special occasions. The estate has been committed to organic viticulture since 2011. The Domaine welcomes individuals and groups to its cellar, where they can taste and buy Domaine wines. The "Viniflore" wine fair is held every third weekend in November to showcase Domaine du Haut-Bellay wines, as well as wines and products from other viticultural and agricultural high schools.
